Crack The Sky Rock Band Hits Pittsburgh 2008!

Rock Band Crack The Sky will play at the New Hazlett Theater in Pittsburgh next weekend July 19, 2008. We caught Crack The Sky in their "From the Greenhouse 89 Tour." when they came to Pittsburgh, shortly after the release of their album From the Greenhouse. Love this band they have a Pink Floyd like quality, especially in my favorite song From the Greenhouse. The vocals, guitar, and drums carry a euphoric rock excellence, that I’ve always been swept away with. Unfortunately we’re unable to make the concert due to events overlapping in our own area. I’m sure they'll be rocking the house down, and wish I could be there! Lyrics such as these still resonate even today. From an old Crack The Sky fan, here is my favorite song “From The Greenhouse,” still have my old concert T-shirt! Rock On!!

Hi, LaughingEyes! I'll be sure to let you know how my appointment with Dr Ding goes! The massage really helped more than all the other stuff. So, we'll see. I'm really kind of excited about it. Feeling much better though today. (Good thing, too, as my husband is now down with gout in his knee!) So we are both hobbling around like the last roses of summer....

Hello Joyce,

Really interested to know how your appointment goes! I forget to mention my mother did have accupuncture when she was young and lived in Japan. She said it worked for her! So there is hope!

Small world my husband has it in his right foot. They say not to eat acidy stuff like tomatoes, and beer. Try to keep a man away from those two things is like taking away his remote! Especially now with all our homegrown tomatoes, and summer parties with beer!

I wish you both luck, it's never any fun being in pain.

Hi jo!

You like rock?! I didn't know that!!!
I don't know much about music, but I went to hear jazz in NY and was amazing. It wasn't a professional band, but they were all heartily creative and I liked that!

Oh my god. I had a pain in my ankle (because I sprained) and then a pain in my knee few months ago. Used to not hang on but it took about 2 months to get well. I need to be more careful...

I love Rock, most of the bands on my profile are rock groups. I also like some really good blues, rock blues, or grassroots soul singing blues.

Yes you must be more careful, old injuries will come back to haunt you when you get older! Try to wear most comfortable and loose fitting shoes. :)

jo! How come you know my shoes are high heels?!

Now I wear sneakers to work! The good thing is I can save heels to have resoled!!!

I just knew you wore high heels Ochi! I had many twisted ankles in my day. I now wear a low heel, if any heel at all. You're lucky to be able to wear sneakers to work. Take advantage of that. Save your heel for going out to fancy places! :)
