Spring Splendor Flowers And Images!

My daily walk in the woods with my chocolate lab reveals that Spring has finally sprung. Brown-black barren limbs are sprouting buds, and draping the drab horizon with wonderful sprigs of lush green.

I found a patch of these beautiful daffodil buds growing smack in the middle of thick dead brush and leaves. You can see some of the dead leaves laying around the edges of the green foilage.

These are the same daffodils above which bloomed a couple days later. Seemed so out of place in all the dead of Winter brush. Beautiful yellow blossoms among the ruins!

Lastly is my beautiful white lilac flowers which just bloomed. These delicate star shaped flowers give off a sweet fragrance which scented my whole kitchen. The earth has awakened with much more beauty yet to come, here on literally in the moment!

Oh yeah! What a joy to see splashes of yellow daffodils and forsythia across that brown landscape. Now who is responsible for sending it down to freezing temps tonight?

I don't know jo? My hands are still cold from our walk tonight, and I took a hot shower! Mother nature can have her freezing temps back like now! My daughter started softball practice last week was nice, but Tuesday looks to be a cold one!

Very nice!
I envy you that you are surrounded by nature!
In Tokyo, I need to look for such a place!

Daughter?
You look young, so I didn't know that you have a daughter!

Hi Ochi,

Here where I live I am surrounded by cow pastures, and woodlands behing me. There are farmlands everywhere, with horses and cows.
It is quite beautiful, I definitely could die here! I lived in the city for half of my life, it was nice when I was younger, but love the country now.

Yes I do have a daughter, in fact I could almost be your mother. Thank you for the compliment though, I thought that picture made me look older! :)

Hello Arlene,

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I love flowers, instead of my husband buying me flowers for mother's day, he buys me flowers to plant. So I have many beautiful perennials that come up every year. :)

Beautiful spring flowers! Yesterday it was 78 degrees here, and tonight and tomorrow its supposed to snow again...and a chilly wind is blowing. But I have no doubt that spring is here! It looks like you live in a very nice, woodsy place.

Cheers!

Thanks P,

The weather here is a beauty today, and will be for the next couple days. Bummer you are getting snow. Yes I love the woods, but there are lots of ticks too. My dog keeps picking them up so, I washed her tonight, and putting frontline on tomorrow! Can't stand those blood suckers

Hi jo!
I can imagine from your words how beautiful your place is!
I wish I could live in place like you when I get older, or after I get married.
I feel pressured by little things in this crowded city.
Very strange,
I didn't feel in this way when I was in NY.

I think this picture makes you look younger :)
I hope I can remain young like you...

Hi Ochi,

Even though I live here, I wish I could visit Japan. I hope to visit there before I die. So many beautiful places to visit. Nice to settle down in a quiet place though. Thanks glad you like the picture, you made my day! Take care! :)

Hi jo!
I am so excited to hear that you received a reply from your mom's sister's son!
I think you can visit your relatives someday soon!
Great you wrote :)

Thanks Ochi,

At least I now have some relatives to visit. Nice to know they are there, and willing to know me and my sisters! We are now not alone!
Thanks again for the translation site! I am grateful! :)
