March ~ Cinquain

March

March brings
warmer sunshine
wind blown skyward kite strings
longer days promise sweet springtime
seedlings

Inspired by Terry from The Shamgar Report! He writes one every month! The flower above is actually green given to me from my sister on my Birthday last weekend. I forget what it's called, but I thought it was fitting for March.

My tulips and dianthus buds are already budding, with tips of green coming through the ground. Spring is just around the corner, can't come too soon! We were at 15 below windchill this morning, schools were delayed all over the area.

Hi jo,

Happy birthday!!!
Very nice spring template! Goes really nice with the flower your sister gave you.

I think spring will come here soon after this gloomy weather. I can't wait for the warmer weather!

Terry's idea is cool and your poem is nice! I feel the spring weather from your words!!!

Thank you Ochi. I'm glad you liked my new template!

The sun is out today, we're in the 30's, and expecting 60's this weekend.

I need to let Terry know I used his idea! :)

Ahhh! this was like a trip to the Philadelphia FLower show (first week of every march)! Won't get to go this year, so this makes up for it. :)

This is the most beautiful gift, a sister can give you! Happy belated birthday, email me with the correct date!!! I saw your e-mail today and I shall reply tonight!
A beautiful poem as well!!!! I love your poems!

Our tulips are coming out as well but I am bracing because this crazy weather cannot be trusted. It may fluctuate and snow really hard and then gone with the tulips like last year! My husband is actually the gardener and we plant all kinds of fruit, veg and herbs and flowers. I am always excited to use them for my dishes!
Jo, I am sure you are a great gardener and I am just excited to see all your plants in bloom!
