I Can Feel It In The Air, Back In The Saddle Again!

So glad my blogger is back up and running again, I was getting a complex thinking only a select few were down! I do thank support for their hard work to restore our front blogger pages.

My blog back up on Friday night, but I ended up mesmerized by the 2008 Olympic Opening Ceremonies in Beijing. The 2008 drummers were my favorite. Their attention to detail and perfection very much like my own Japanese mother was. A stunning culture of a beautiful and proud people, who put on a great ceremony.

I hope to someday visit my mother's homeland in Japan, and finally meet up with my Japanese cousins. To come full circle to aquaint a family and heritage, I've never known!

Yesterday an all day clothes shopping spree preparing my daughter for her school wardrobe. Came home late exhasted, and finally had some quiet time on the computer, then we had a thunderstorm and power outage. I think this was an omen to stay off the computer, or the powers be against me!

Life has me turning in many directions, none it seems is my own. I did however get a poem contest entry in last week. I've been reluctant to enter much these days, as I feel the contests are usually for the writers who are well established. Nevertheless, I still try to get my work out there, even though it seems futile.

On another note the weather here feels like Fall already! The night air in the 50's is turning my pool water cold, and the days are not quite hot enough in the low 70's to swim. I can say the low humidity has been a nice change. But I know Fall is just around the corner, and the days are now growing shorter.

Summer life sojourns in sweet encounters, how I'll miss the many reflections. Like a lustful summer affair, love vanishes as fast as it began. Leaving an imprint on my heart, to remain forever.

Hi Jo!

We have high 90F!!!
I want to give you some of these temperatures. I don't want to wear nice clothes and hang out with my friends on such a day because I know my clothes will be soaked in sweat :(

Wow! You entered the contest! Great!!! I think the contest is just a luck! It is the preference of the judge, so at least you entered, you will get a chance!!! I always think in that way, so I try... You know I am losing lot more than I win! Ha-ha.

I'm sorry to hear that you had a power outage. You know what!? Our computer was down because of the thunderstorm. Now it is fixed but we had a tough week without it :(

I know the hot temps are hard when you dress up. We will probrably be back in the hot weather again soon.

Yes I got brave an entered another contest. You can't win if you don't enter, so I did. At least you keep trying!

Yes, we are not all dependent on our computers.

Fall one of my favorite seasons too Jo. I too love the cooler temps, but also wish to finish out the season swimming! Yes it'll get hot when the kids go back to school!

I wish we could have that cool temp here. Just for a while is okay...
Before fall, we have typhoon season. It is worse than the rainy season :(
But after that, we can enjoy the fall foliage! Which is very beautiful. I believe yours are more beautiful!!!

The weather here is very comfortable, getting warmer, but humidity is down. Will you post some of your fall pictures on your blog? Would love to see them!

Dear Jo,
Read your cute comments on Joyce's comment, formally Uncle Pekek. I have a Ph.D in Holistic Nutrition. One tablespoon of molasses a day will help build your iron (put it on cereal or drink molasses in warm water). Salmon and red beets also are high in iron. eat or drink lots of greens, parsley, kale, spinach, broccoli.... Good luck. You can visit my blog at http://healingbodyspirit.blogspot.
com
When someone has low iron, I always wonder if they are assimilating their food. Then I wonder about candida and I also wonder if they need enzymes with their meals...I'm just wondering.
Kindest regards,
Patty B., Ph.D

Hello Patty,

Never knew molasses had iron, I do eat lots of everything that has iron, but I'm losing it every month faster than I can put in!

I'm on an iron supplement now along with vitamin C to help absorb the iron! Feeling better but still tired. The stories I could tell you! I did check your blog, and I love it. Will be over to visit and comment! :)
